Career Vision gave me the structure and a place to finally get honest about what I actually wanted professionally.
When I joined the program and started working with Josh, I was torn between chasing another leadership role in tech or doing something I had always had a personal interest in – construction. I had years of experience in product, so just walking away from it felt wrong. He not only helped me make the decision rationally, but also figured out how to tell the story of why I was doing it. Through our work together, Josh helped me strip away the noise and reconnect with what mattered most – not just what I could do, but what I wanted to do.
As we refined my story, I started getting traction – more interviews, more conversations that felt aligned. But what stood out even more was how that process gave me clarity and confidence to choose a different path altogether. I realized I didn’t need to justify stepping into something new – I just needed to own it.
The result? I walked away from tech and jumped into a career as a general contractor with both feet, and I’m happy to have the opportunity to be running my own business!
